We have been learning about Maramataka.

What is  Maramataka.? Maramataka is the Maori lunar calendar.

What moon phase did you choose?  I chose Te Rakanui (the full moon).

What activities are good on that day? the good activities is A good time to be productive or active, set short term goals have people over or plan a special occasion. It is a good day for fishing and gardening.

We made Dioramas.

I used a box, paint, ice block sticks, cotton balls,little plants and cardboard.

I found painting easy and using the hot clue gun was hard for Me.

My Special Mum

My mum is really good at cooking, shopping, writing and loving.
My mum makes the best food.
My mum is as smart as a genius.
My mum is as pretty as a sunset and crystals.
My mum makes me laugh when she is telling me something funny.
I love my mum because she is the Best Mum ever!
